The worst cannabis dispensary ever!

Being a medical marijuana patient for several years, when I moved to Sacramento, narturally I had to locate a cannabis dispensary for my medicine. I did a search on the computer and found several, and I picked the one closest to my place. It had to be within bicycle riding distance, and I am no Lance Burton (Armstrong). Also, being a physician that has supported medical cannabis all my life, I have been attacked repeatedly, both professionally and socially, for my uncompromising stance about phytobotanicals in medicine.

So, after my physician confirmed my letter of recommendation, I prepped for the breathless bicycle ride with drinking 1 liter of gatorade first, then slathering on 45 spf sunscreen, and then donning reflective (moon helmet) type sunglasses and a baseball cap. I brought along another liter of cold gatorade.

After many joules expended, cursing the hellicopters that always try to film these pitiful sojourns, I arrive at my destination, located in a little mexican shopping center. Soaking wet with sweat, I go through the laborious process of locking up my bike. Since San Francisco destroyed my car, my bicycle is now very precious to me. I try to pretend I am bicycling around the Jordaan area of Amsterdam, but it is so dissonante to this desert torture scene, that it is very hard to hold it and takes lots of energy I can't spare.

The E.B.H.S (East Bay Health Solutions) in Sacramento is the subject of this dissingly painful review. Mind you, I did not write this until I had been a member for several months and had met all personnel and tried (almost) all the products offered for sale to the members.

From the get-go, the feng shui of the place is very bad. Bad vibes ooze through the black-tinted storefront window. One knocks or if no answer, push a doorbell button. A large male opens the door and is dressed to look like a cop.

They check my ID and the 'like in a jail' feeling increases while waiting. (no music, a few cannabis magazines) The woman behind the desk knows you are a member, because you go there regularly, so what's all this hoo-doo about? Ridiculous. Finally, you are "cleared to go back!"

The rent-a-cop-wannabe ceremonially unlocks the door and you go back a straight corridor. There is a long counter, about the height of a bar in a drinking establishment. The available strains of the day are written on a board, behind the staffperson who waits on you. The selection of herb is limited, to say the least. Usually 4-5 kinds of bud, at the most, and these tend toward non-organic, fertilizer-forced, chem bud. Sometimes they even name the strain honestly, "chem dog," or "diesel wreck," etc. Most smell "chemically" in one way or another.

One has to ask about genetic lineage, as it is often neglected or not posted. Most often the staff knows nothing about the product, though they certainly appear to have recently tried some of the stock. That is, except the unfriendly woman who sits at the desk, it would do her great good to try some at the job.

So, after they got sick of looking like total idiots for a few months, they started asking the growers and got some rough ideas about what indica and sativa mean. Their concentrates and edibles were variable, sometimes good and effective but other times the same brand will be lame and ineffective. In other words, E.B.H.S. is a crap shoot at best. At worst, it is a very non-therapeutic place that has a very ghetto/gangland feel, with uneducated workers staffing the place, mediocre to variable weed, and no other services to clients. No massage, no allied healing arts, no good music, nothing. Pay, get out, next!

To anyone who has ever been to some of the dispensaries in San Francisco, you'd think this was the dispensary that only people on parole would be ordered to go to as part of their punishment. Really, it's just that cheerful of a place. To anyone who's been to Amsterdam or Rotterdam, EBHS is just a piece of crap. No one would go there if this place were in Holland!! It would closed in a week for lack of customers. Their hours change bizarrely. I've met several members in the parking lot, often after a long trip to get there, and we find it suddenly, inexplicably closed on Sunday, while advertising "Open Seven Days A Week".

To the Sacramentan Medical marijuana patient, this reviewer says, EBHS is the bottom feeder of cannabis dispensaries and you should avoid it like the plague.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They have the best edibles I've ever tasted! Their cannabis is good, too! My fave is their sour D and of course their purple anything, anything from the Kush to the Grand Daddy Purp!!

You know I hear alot of things about all the different clubs in sacramento and been to a bunch myself but I got to admit, hands down this got to be one of the best if not the best club in town. Not to mention their security are real security, not some guys in black t-shirts. If you haven't tried this place, your missing out !

This place used to be the spot but after a minute or so of making friends, they raised their prices, not caring about us. We're the ones that blew them up in the first place and now what? The 45 cap is back but I say it's too late! Don't give them a chance to get back into our lives and pockets! There are way too many clubs in northen Cali to put up with these ones that "smile in your face".

They aint gansters you fool to bad you didnt get to make it in there cause they got these hella sick grow rooms they let you check out if you fill out the mandatory forms when you first enter for the first time just dont be a wimp and fill out the papers the. Platinum purps is deffinately worth it

Bomb! The best! I love the realness here! Great Product, great people, great, great, great!!!! I have never had a bad experience here! Plus it don't hurt that all the employees there are fine!!!! For real this is a really good place to buy your medicine from! I've been to alot, alot of clubs and they are part of my top 3!!! Check em out!

These guys are nothing but gangsters! They make you sign a care giver form, I told them I was already growing my 6 plants. They said they didn't care and if I didn't sign their care provider form I needed too get the f out! Nice guys, I left checking too see if I still had my wallet. Straight gangsters!!

I got my med/card in 1998, started seeing clubs pop up around 2000. I been to many clubs over the years having to travel to sf/oakland. I read some reviews on this collective and stopped by. I must say this is a must stop.They have many strains but one stands alone (platinum purple) See it to believe it.

I dont think there is a perfect 5 star disp........[all 1/8's would be 40 or less, oz's 250 or less, clones $10 or less, no gram of hash more than $15, pre-rolleds would be pure what they say they are, and so on....do you get my drift?...and when they say "free gift" it will get you stoned... :)] but....this one is a 4 star. It is because when you first get your card and you begin your journey through the clubs to 1st. Try to find the club with the most potent medicine, 2nd, you then try to find the best prices, 3rd, is consistency, finding consistency is important because you want your meds to do what its supposed to do, right? [right] and you want it that way every time...then you'll find this club will fullfill....All clubs are friendly and so is this one....so you'll get everything you get at any other club except price ...you cant find better prices....the pre-rolleds are great...edibles, etc. they even have an indoor garden demonstration in use as we speak...see what a real indoor garden should look like.....or stand around and speculate with all the other "experts"..:)...any way, its a multi-cultural, which is what I like cause I dont want to think I'm supporting some cause I dont agree with

I went here yesterday for the first time. If anything I would only say that they didn’t have a large selection that day of smokes but the Blue Dream and Sour Diesel I bought are both excellent quality and they were both $41 + tax for an eighth. They have some good looking purple Kush type that I look forward to trying next visit. The prices are good and quality is good from the clubs I have been to here in Sac. I love the white cannabis chocolate bars they have for $6.

I truly believe everyone has a right to their opinion, but there is a difference between constructive and destructive criticism. If anyone has a problem that needs to be addressed, I beleive there are proactive ways to address such issues. One could talk with the sales rep to let them know there is a problem and allow the rep the opportunity to correct the problem. If the problem is not addressed appropriately, ask for the manager or the owner. If the problem is still not addressed, then go online and ream them on a review. To jump straight into a negative review with such enthusiasm makes one wonder what the motivation and agenda behind such a critique is really trying to accomplish.It does not make the place better. It fuels a continuing stigma on what we as club owners are trying to accomplish.

I know for us we are trying to bring a high quality of medicine to Americans with safe access at a very affordable price. If we ever fall short, please let us know. We will be sure to address your concerns to your satisfaction. If this is truly your concern; to strengthen and inform our patients and their needs. Please be responsible. We are all trying to accomplish something good here. We need to do it together. I have read negative reviews on their clubs and again.....what do we want to accomplish?

Yeah I tried this club and I'm not impressed. The bud is cheap but u get what you pay for. I tried the bubba kush and it tasted like chemicals. Also got some purple and the one big bud I got was full of mold. Didn't even attempt to take it back because i didn't even want to see the guy who works at the counters face again. So if u like chemicals and mold this is the place for you. I'll stick to my spot from now on I don't think I'm going to try any of the new clubs anymore. P.S. It was cheap lol

Visited this club for the first time prices were low, along with the quality. Maybe I went in with high expectations from some of the reviews I read, now I would say they must have friends write reviews for them.

Only had 4 kinds of smokables to choose from.

Quality ranged from soso to good.
Meds could use some flushing, some had a distinct fertilizer odor.
Seems like a very "young" club. People were nice, has potential to be a decent place.
Location is not the greatest.
Hard to tell you more with just one visit. It's worth a look, stop by.

Good product. Got ounce of half Blue Dream, half Purple Kush. Both were bomb. Kinda bad location, people were muggin me on my way out. But, the price an ounce at a club is pretty good. Still, more than street value. I will be returning.

Very cool people. Great service. Prices are totally reasonable especially for the quality. I read this place was scary, but it was well lit, and nicely done-up, and right in the convenient location. I will definitly be back.

They are obviously just starting up, but I appreciated every aspect of my first visit. Cool door person, and a very nice sales person. The product I bought (Master Kush) was good but slightly dry. Re-hydrated well. But at this price, I'm pleased!

They offered Bubba Kush and a few other strains, but I already had some Bubba.

Of course I'll return. I welcome our East Bay friends! I hope they get their stuff together and deliver some more superior bud soon. And I know they will.

This is truly my favorite club in Sacramento. It has a very discreet exterior, but it's suprisingly nice on the inside. All the staff members I met were friendly & nice.

The meds are the best deal around. They had such a wonderful selection of different types of Kush and they're edibles are incredible also. They make full cakes! I'm so happy to find this place! I live right around the corner and will definitely be frequenting EBHS.

So I tried this club out for the first time the other day. I must say, I was suprised by the pricing, all high grades and affordable. So i picked up some Blackberry Goo and some Bubba Kush and boy was I impressed, both were fire! They also gave me a gift for my first purchase. I'll definatly be back for that Bubba.

All I have to say is they have some of the best Kush in town, definatly the best price $45 an 1/8 tax included. I will be a return customer.
